There is a parallel between the money you are using to fill your gas tanks and television programming. The general buzz is that, as family budgets get stretched because of higher gas and grocery prices, people will spend more time in front of their TV sets.

    I can totally agree with that. I have to admit that we have spent much more time inside lately, and gas prices are definitely part of the reason. Television is one of the top ways to entertain ourselves and keep in touch somewhat with what's going on in the world. I catch myself viewing far more satellite television, and even looking deeper into what my satellite services offer. If I'm not watching tv, I'm usually on the internet...
