Tim Russert was the best of the best. Every Reporter from this day forward should look to him as role model for the example he set on how to do the job the right way. I am a Meet the Press fan and have a love for politics is due partly because of this guy. He will be truely missed. "Florida Florida Florida" - Tim Russert

Russert deserved every tribute given this weekend. I don't know how the crew at NBC got through this show without completely breaking down. Russert was unique and there is no one to replace him. There is no one else that comes to mind as a replacement as moderator of the debates, or Meet the Press, or as the voice of the election. A shattering loss for the electorate.
The empty chair at his desk sat empty but one day someone Russert will have undoubttly inspired will take that seat.
Losing someone on the job is very difficult. We had a manager die of a heart attack at her desk and the office wasn't the same for months. Truly difficult here as Russert was much loved by so many who worked so closely with him.
