The writers strike is in its fourth week, with chilly prospects for viewing ahead. During December, the schedule will be dominated by holiday specials and series repeats (not unlike any other year). But come January, a prolonged strike could be all too obvious to viewers, with continuing episodic reruns interspersed with new reality shows.

      I'd just like to turn on the television and January and not be assaulted even more by reality shows. The amount of reality shows is ridiculous now, just wait and see what happens if this strike carries on. Ugh.

      I heard a rumor, however, that they were pretty close to having it resolved.
