"It's the most gorgeous, detailed and mind-boggling view of the planet I've seen," says actress and Planet Earth narrator Sigourney Weaver, a longtime conservationist seldom prone to hyperbole.

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I look forward to seeing this on the Discovery Channel. I'm glad they have spent the money to record what may disappear if we do not take care of this planet.

I'll have my popcorn ready! Wow, with a budget like that, this should be outstanding. Thanks again E.E. With as little tv as I watch, I would have missed it if I hadn't seen this.

I think that this will be the last great documentary of our planet that in the future will be used to show what our world USE to look like...

I can't wait to see this, the Earth truly is GLORIOUS! overlook all it's sickness and disease once in awhile and see the true beauty above it all. I know I'll be one that has some tears in my eyes. and seeing all those wonderous and beautiful things will hopefully inspire more people to take better care of the only home we have.

It's marked on my calendar, & I'm emailing my grandchildren to tell their parents. They can record it for a better time to watch. Thanks for this, EE.

THANKS "Eagle Eye" ... I can't wait to get bak home from China and either watch Discovery or buy CD... We are Mother Nature's children too and we should live in harmony with other inhabitant of our Global Village,

Unfortunately we are behaving as a conquerors of our own village and that doesn't make sense... I had painted 35 paintings on theme: "MAN AND NATURE" for famous 1999 exhibition in "Chinese National Arts Museum" which was about animals and they born right to live and share this planet without to be destroyed by Conquerors...

I am happy there are more humans with same love for Mother Earth.

Tanks AGAIN "Eagle Eye" and this was an EYES OPENING SUBMISSION!

LOL, get satellite or visit a neighbor, or go to Discovery web site and get the DVD, or just go out side and look around.

But this is going to be a global nature documentary so you can see more than just what is out your door!

From all I have heard and seen, they have NEVER done any thing like this before and I am so glad they have captured the beauty of our world for all posterity.

I'm such a nature show junkie because I'll never get to travel EVERYWHERE in the world. Shows like these are practically my only opportunity to see much of the world. I love watching travel shows, with all the diferent kinds of foods & people & sites, and nature shows - on any topic or animal and in any country of the world - for this reason especially. It's my biggest dream to travel the world. Even to see a whole bunch of penguins, like that in the photo, I could only imagine.
